Jennifer Behr's Fall 2009 Collection

Now THIS is the right way to channel your inner Blair Waldorf.

Leighton Meester often sports Jennifer Behr's headpieces on Gossip Girl, and I can't wait to see if her character will sport these new looks from Behr's Fall 2009 collection.

The studded and Swarovski-adorned headbands and turbans might just be my new favourite accessories for the fall!

Check out them out below!

Anna Sui rips off her own looks for her new Target collection

If you had a feeling that Anna Sui's latest collection for Target looked slightly familiar, and not in that it was supposed to resemble Gossip Girl style...you were right.

Nylon magazine was quick to point out that many of Sui's looks for Target were very similar to some of the looks that graced her runways previous seasons, dating back to Fall 2006!

This revelation makes me even more disappointed in this collection.

Compare them for yourself from the pictures below.

Gaga's latest tour outfit

Lady Gaga rocked an amazing new outfit and a fabulous keytar at the Glastonbury music festival in the U.K. on Friday!

Kristen Stewart sings!

Kristen Stewart is yet another actress who can "sing."

The Twilight star is currently filming her newest film, the music biopic, The Runaways, where she plays Joan Jett.

Recently, a source on the set said that Stewart had been practicing her vocal skills during the performance scenes.

"I listened to her sing “I love playing with fire” about 55 times," said an extra from the set. "The girls in her band were very nice and very cool. Joan Jett was also there hanging out and giving rocking out tips all day. It was pretty amazing to see Kristen right next to Joan. She looked just like her."

Luckily a clip of Stewart singing in the movie Into the Wild was found.

Check it out below!

What do you think of Kristen Stewart's voice?

The Jackson family's official statement

Michael Jackson's family released the following statement, in regards to his death this past Thursday:

"In one of the darkest moments of our lives we find it hard to find the words appropriate to this sudden tragedy we all had to encounter. Our beloved son, brother and father of three children has gone so unexpectedly, in such a tragic way and much too soon. It leaves us, his family, speechless and devastated to a point, where communication with the outside world seems almost impossible at times.

We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you – who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever.

In addition, Joseph Jackson wishes to personally convey: "My grandchildren are deeply moved by all the love and support you have shown for them and their father, Michael Jackson."

The collection consists of 19 looks, inspired by the ladies of Gossip Girl: Blair, Serena, Jenny and Vanessa.

Personally, I'm not too impressed with the looks, except maybe for some of the "Blair" dresses.

What do you think of the collection?

Vera Wang uncertain about competing on Dancing with the Stars

A couple weeks ago, there were rumours that designer Vera Wang was to compete on the newest season of Dancing with the Stars.

The Cut blog caught up with Wang at the CFDA Awards, and asked her if the rumours were true.

"We haven't decided. They haven't and I haven't," she said.

When The Cut asked if the show approached Wang, she answered, "They approach a lot of people, not just me."

I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Nicholas Kirkwood Autumn/Winter 2009 Collection

Divine!

Quote of the Day

"I am so often puzzled (by journalists). Sometimes they go, 'So what's this all about? ... What do you look like when you go home? Do you dress like this all the time?' It's rude! It's not nice ... (Lady Gaga) is who I am. Me and my hair bow, we go to bed together. She sleeps where I sleep."

Zac Efron and Breckin Meyer's Perez Hilton spoof

Breckin Meyer and Zac Efron made a spoof of Perez Hilton, in regards to his feud with Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas.

I wonder what Perez thinks of his beloved Zacquisha making fun of him?

She's just being Miley!

Adam Shankman posted the above pictures of Miley Cyrus on Twitter earlier today.

The photos are of Cyrus "fooling around" in her dresing room on the set of her new movie, The Last Song in Georgia.

Unfortunately for the Hannah Montana star, the photos were deemed controversial, much to Shankman's surprise.

"Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She's like my angel little sister," tweeted Shankman.

We say: She's 16, she wants to have fun, and she can't help it if she's an attention wh*re!

A new statement from Perez Hilton

From the heart:

"Words can hurt. I know that very well, from both sides of the fence. The other night in Toronto, after feeling physically threatened by a verbally abusive Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, I chose the most hurtful word I know to hurl at him. I was in an out-of-the ordinary situaton and used a word that I would not utter under normal circumstances. My intention - however misguided it may have been - was to stand up for myself and tell this belligerent man that I had enough of his badgering and was not going to continue to let him berate and intimidate me. I wanted to hurt him with the word I chose, not anyone else. Unfortunately, the one who got hurt was me and, subsequently, a lot of other people. I wish none of it had happened. I can't take it back. I did what I thought was best at the moment to stand up for myself in a non-violent yet still assertive way. Clearly, I am not homophobic. Also, I am not nor have I ever claimed to be a spokesperson for the gay community. I am just speaking for myself, a gay man. One who is labeled "flamboyant" in the media. An American that is not granted equal rights under the law. I will continue to speak out for equality and I will continue to say things that upset both gay people and straight people. Who I am as a person and what I do for a living are two separate things. I've come to terms with all my incongruities and am proud of who I am and what I do. In closing, words can hurt. But words should not provoke someone to violence. Stripped away from the mask of Perez Hilton, I have been extremely bothered by the public reaction to my assault. Violence should never be condoned with such statements as "It's Karma" or "I don't believe in violence but….". In fact, several television and radio shows over the past couple of days echoed the sentiment "He had it coming". Would they have said the same thing if I was a woman? Would I have "deserved it" if I had been stabbed? Or shot? Or killed? I was attacked from behind without warning and repeatedly punched in the head in a cold, disgusting and unnecessarily violent manner by Polo Molina, the road manager for the Black Eyed Peas, who I did not even speak with that evening. I did not share any words with him and his assault on me was completely unprovoked. I feel like everything happens for a reason and I leave this traumatic experience as person with more compassion. Specifically, there was an instance last year when actor Jesse Metcalfe was attacked outside of a Hollywood nightclub by a fellow entertainer. I did not condone the violence, but I did make light of that situation. I regret that. Sincerely. There are many ways to deal with disagreements, both good and bad, but violence is never the answer. Never. I now know that first-hand. It should not be condoned, promoted or accepted. No one "deserves" to be the victim of violence. No one "has it coming." NO ONE. And victims should not be ridiculed. I look forward to marching for equality in Washington, D.C. this October. And I look forward to standing up for my rights in a Toronto courtroom shortly, as I fully intend to seek every lawful remedy against the man that attacked me."

AA's shiny leggings...for kids

Ever wanted to dress your little sister, your daughter, or even your little cousin in the same clothes you wear?

Yeah, me neither.

But for the few of you who answered yes, now you can dress your mini-me in the American Apparel shiny legging for kids.

The leggings come in the classic AA colours: lamé gold and silver, night fever navy and black and the mauve dots/black.

They look fairly cute, but would you dress your kid in the shiny legging?

"Beastly" preview

Check out Entertainment Tonight's preview of the new movie, Beastly, a modern day tale of Beauty and the Best starring Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Alex Pettyfer.

Looks cheesy, but Pettyfer is pretty yummy, and I am NOT one to miss out on an Olsen film!

Emma Watson: Teen Vogue cover girl + fashion designer?

Emma Watson looks absolutely divine in the August issue of Teen Vogue.

On a side note, News of the World, is reporting that the 19-year-old actress is designing her own line of clothing for teenagers, with all profits going towards UNICEF.

Watson is apparently receiving advice from none other than Karl Lagerfeld.

Not too sure if this is true or not, but it'll be interesting to see what she comes up!

In the meantime, check out the gorgeous pictures from the Teen Vogue spread below.

MMVA Drama: Perez Hilton vs. Will.I.Am

Drama went down at the MMVA afterparties last night between blogger, Perez Hilton and Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas.

Hilton is accusing Black Eyed Peas manager, Liborio "Polo" Molina, of punching him in the face numerous times, after a verbal altercation between the blogger and Will.I.Am.

Will, however, is claiming that a fan punched Hilton.

Toronto police have charged Molina with assault, and he is due to appear in court on August 5.

According to Perez, in his official statement, the drama started when Fergie approached Perez at Ultra, asking him why he was writing negative things about her and the band. Perez supposedly explained that he was just being objective, and that it was all just "silly."

Later on in the night, Perez went to Cobra nightclub for another afterparty.

According to the blogger, Will came into the club at aroudn 2:30 in the morning, approached Perez and said, Yo, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to never write about my band on your web site again."

Hilton declined, and after the conversation escalated, the admitted to calling Will.I.Am a homophobic slur.

When Hilton went outside, he saw Will and his entourage, and that's when he was punched in the face by Polo, causing him to bleed.

Perez called the police, but also took to Twitter as a cry for help.

"I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please."

He posted shortly thereafter, "I was assaulted by will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke," said his tweet.

Will.I.Am tried to set the record straight with a video blog today, claiming that a fan attacked Hilton.

"One of the fans gets all like crazy and they like start some stuff with Perez Hilton. And I'm sitting there just minding my own business waiting for a car and what not, but it just goes to show you how crazy things can get. It's not that serious. It's all music and opinion. People make a career from opinion, which is cool, but don't be disrespectful about it. And fans, don't get all crazy about it," he said.

He also created his own twitter account to set the record straight.

"i just made a twitter account because it isnt cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies..." he tweeted. "this is dude is crazy...he will go to any length to get press... wow...!!!!"

Further, Will made another video blog in response to Perez's official statement.

"I hit you Perez? Come on dude, I didn't hit you," he said. "And this is very wrong that you are twitting that I did that. Once again, disrespecting me and everything that I stand for...and that's wrong. Shame on you, shame on your behaviour, and that's just messed up."

One of my sources who was at Cobra tells me that it was indeed, Polo, who attacked Hilton, not a fan. But we'll see what happens!

2009 Much Music Video Awards

Last night marked one of the most anticipated nights in Toronto of the year, the 2009 Much Music Video Awards.

The star-studded guest list included Lady GaGa, the Jonas Brothers, the Black Eyed Peas, Twilight's Taylor Lautner, The Hills's Audrina Partridge, Drake, Kim Kardashian, Rumer Willis, Perez Hilton, Kelly Clarkson and Tila Tequila, to name a few.

The highlight of the night was Gaga's performance, especially when fire shot out of her bra.

The stars headed to Ultra nightclub for one of the official MMVA afterparties, and The Chic Spot was there! Dressed in a vintage eighties gown (thanks, Mom!) and caged Manolo Blahnik heels, I headed to the party with my BFF, ready to see the stars.

Audrina and Rumer came in together, looking stunning. Although Audrina wore a hideous turtleneck cutout dress, she looked amazing in person. Rumer opted for a sequined dress and looked surpringly beautiful (photos really do not do this girl justice!)

Gaga entered in a floor-length black fur coat, surronded by an entourage, and scurried to the VIP area upstairs. Also spotted was Jesse McCartney, Twilight's Rachelle Lefevre, Kim Kardashian, Natalie Reznik from So You Think You Can Dance Canada and Project Runway Canada's Brandon Dwyer.

Overall, it was a fabulous evening!

Check out some personal photos below, along with press photos from the awards. For the full list of winners, click here.

Moi.
