Leighton Meester often sports Jennifer Behr's headpieces on Gossip Girl, and I can't wait to see if her character will sport these new looks from Behr's Fall 2009 collection.

The studded and Swarovski-adorned headbands and turbans might just be my new favourite accessories for the fall!

Another Gossip Girl star-turned singer

Ho hum. The cast of Gossip Girl really wants to prove that they can sing.

First Ed Westwick and his band the Filthy Youth, then Taylor Momsen with the Pretty Reckless, and Leighton Meester and her Cobra Starship collaboration.

Now, Penn Badgley, may be the next GG star to get into the music industry, although not right away.

"Years from now, maybe you'll see something, but for the moment, it's something that I don't [want to do]," the actor otherwise known as Dan Humphrey told MTV News.

"I mean music is my first passion, but because of that I don't really want to just take a first step in the wrong direction," said the 22-year-old. "At the moment, I just want to be sensible about what I do. I just write and I play, and that's all I need for myself right now."

Badgley also admitted that he has only listened to Westwick's band, and hasn't heard any of Meester's or Momsen's songs yet. He did say, however, that he thinks they'll do just fine in the music industry.

"I haven't heard any of Taylor's stuff, but apparently it's pretty decent," he said of his onscreen sister. "I wish them the best with it. It's awesome they're doing that."

I sense a collaboration album in the near future!

Best Dressed:

Ashley Tisdale - The High School Musical star looked radiant on the red-carpet. She accessorized her outfit perfectly...and those shoes are just to die for!

Vanessa Hudgens - Tisdale's co-star also looked stunning in a floor-length orange gown. Not too crazy about the shoes, but luckily the dress somewhat hides them.

Leighton Meester - The Gossip Girl actress looked gorgeous is this black dress with mesh cut-outs. Again, a different shoe would have made this look pop even more.

Sienna Miller - This is the CORRECT way to sport a sparkly dress (see Audrina Partridge's version below).

Malin Akerman - This actress looked super sexy in a white pantsuit.

Worst Dressed:

Rumer Willis - The spawn of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis was possibly the ultimate worst dressed of the night. The clown-red hair, the mosaic dress, the makeup...just awful.

Miranda Cosgrove - The iCarly star definitely had a "fashion miss" moment. At least she's trying to dress age-appropriately, and not showing too much skin!

Elizabeth Reaser - Oh Elizabeth, why must you wear those disgusting, outdated beige shoes? With the huge success of the Twilight film, you could at least afford to buy a nice pair of Chrisitan Louboutins!

Audrina Partridge - Who needs bright lights? This Hills star's dress is so flashy, it is headache-inducing.

Sacha Baron Cohen as Bruno

Sandra Bullock - The Proposal actress recently filmed a nude scene with co-star Ryan Reynolds. So why the black tights? Show off those legs!

Megan Fox - The normally stunning Transformers actress did not look her best last night. Great shoes, and an okay dress, but the slicked-back hair doesn't work for her.

Miley Cyrus - Is there any surprise that Miley would be part of the Worst Dressed list? The dress is bland, her ponytail seems too casual, and her eye makeup looks too dark for her. The Hannah Montana star even tweeted, "i totally match the background not chill!"

Kristen Stewart - The Twilight actress gets points for trying something different by pairing her dress with the Converse shoes...but with her demeanor, it seems like she just doesn't care.

"Good Girls Go Bad" video preview

Stills of Cobra Starship's latest track, "Good Girls Go Bad" featuring Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester have been leaked!

The concept of the video is that Meester runs an underground speakeasy, while the band is in charge of the above-ground deli that is meant to distract from the club below. In order to gain access to this club, customers must order the correct sandwich.

Originally, the band recorded the song with American Idol judge and co-writer, Kara DioGuardi, but then Cobra Starship decided they wanted to collaborate with Meester.

"I had heard that Leighton was working on a record and I really, really, really wanted to do a song with her, because I'm a big superfan of hers," said frontman Gabe Saporta. He remembered thinking, "['Good Girls'] would be perfect for Leighton because it's already kind of her character in 'Gossip Girl,' like the perfect girl with the bad streak."

Meester immediately liked the track, and told MTV News, "I thought, 'I need to get on that! It totally is my sound too. Really fun to dance to it. Very edgy and cool."

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester recently landed a record deal with Universal Republic Records.

Now, the 23-year-old is featured on a track by Cobra Starship called "Good Girls Go Bad," which was co-written by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi.

"Good Girls Go Bad" was premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning, and is a really fun, catchy song.

I wonder if it's a reference to Blair Waldorf?

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester revealed to WWD yesterday that she had scored a record deal with Universal Republic Records.

"I signed my record deal today so I am really excited," she said at the opening of the Chloé boutique in L.A.

In a public statement, the 23-year-old actress added, “I’m thrilled to be welcomed into the Universal Republic fold. Their reputation for nurturing artists combined with a willingness to break new ground makes it the ultimate environment for me to enjoy making music and explore my own creative boundaries. I look forward to a great working relationship.”

Now the question is, will Leighton become just another one of those actresses-turned-failed recording artists, or will she find success in a singing career as well?

Who will win Blair's heart?

Blair and Chuck kissing in a tree...or is it Blair and Nate?

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester was spotted kissing co-stars Chace Crawford (a.k.a. Nate Archibald) AND Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass)...wearing the same outfit! Not likely for Blair Wardolf to wear the same outfit twice...

For those of you who don't know, Chuck and Nate are best friends, and they both have been romantically involved with Blair...

So does this mean she hooks up with both boys in the same episode?

An inside source told E! Online, "If she was in the same outfit, it was probably to throw off the photogs. But she does kiss both [Nate and Chuck] at some point in the last couple of episodes."

GG producer Josh Schwartz says that the love triangle will be a "big part of the storyline."

"It's graduation, so it's all about what is the future for these characters and the show? Where's everyone going to be next year? Chuck, Blair and Nate are obviously a big story we're telling," he told E!

Who do you think Blair will end up with?

My bets are she'll go back with Nate for a while...but once they break up, Chuck will be there to pick up the pieces!

Leighton Meester's Reebok ads have finally surfaced.

The 22-year-old Gossip Girl actress wears the "Top Down" sneaker by Leighton Meester in black.

Meester launched the shoe at Lady Food Locker Herald Square yesterday in new York City, and the ads will hit billboards and magazines later this year.

Leighton Meester shows off her sultry side in the March 2009 issue of InStyle magazine.

The 22-year-old Gossip Girl star had a difficult time figuring out who inspires her the most when it comes to fashion, but finally gave the credit to her mother.

"I think it all started with me looking up to my mom," Meester said. "She has great style. She was definitely out there when it comes to fashion but now I have a bunch of stuff she wore back then. I usually get complimented on them."

She added, “I do love fashion and I do love clothes but it’s more about expressing yourself than expressing a designer. I’m not snobby about what I wear as far as designers. I just want to have fun with fashion, that’s what it’s about.”

Gossip Girl's Queen B, Leighton Meester, scored the March cover of Seventeen magazine.

In the mag, Meester talks about her parents' troubled past and the unconventional road to romance.

On romance, she said,

"I don’t want any rules whatsoever. If you want to call, just call. But it’s really about the specific person and the chemistry that he has with you. It’s easy to have chemistry with a bad boy, but it’s also easy to have chemistry with somebody who’s really chill and intelligent. He just has to be the right balance of everything.”

Bizarre video of the day

I saw this video posted on Fashionista...

Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen is being bombarded by the paparazzi after a workout.

As a camera gives her the one-over, the Nike swoosh is very visible on her sports bra, as well as on her shoes.

Taylor puts on her Ray-Bans, and jets off, then all of a sudden jumps down from one flight of stairs to the next, slides down the banister, runs in a parking lot, only to ALMOST get hit by a car (no biggie, she just jumps on the car, and jumps off), jumps on more cars, and jumps and reaches a balcony, where she runs off into the distance...

Either Taylor's workouts with Teen Vogue have made her an exceptional gymnast, or somehow, a stunt double came in.

And is a Nike campaign in Taylor's future? Sneaker campagisn seem to be a trend for those Gossip Girl stars...just look at Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick!

I might have to end my Teen Vogue boycott after this...

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester is the magazine's February 2009 cover girl.

In the issue, the 22-year-old talks about her childhood, Ed Westwick and her new album.

On her parents being in prison:

I wouldn't have volunteered that information, but I've never kept it a secret either. It's just not my past; it's not my story to tell...I wasn't born in jail; I was born in a hospital. I lived with my mother for a few months in a halfway house, and then I went to stay with my grandmother for a few more before my mom got out. But I had a normal life.

On Ed:

He’s my favorite actor to work with. We have really good chemistry.

On her debut album, which she hopes to release this spring:

The music is very fun. It’s edgy, like electropop rather than bubblegum and you can dance to it.
