Vera Wang uncertain about competing on Dancing with the Stars

A couple weeks ago, there were rumours that designer Vera Wang was to compete on the newest season of Dancing with the Stars.

The Cut blog caught up with Wang at the CFDA Awards, and asked her if the rumours were true.

"We haven't decided. They haven't and I haven't," she said.

When The Cut asked if the show approached Wang, she answered, "They approach a lot of people, not just me."

I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Marc Jacobs in LV bunny ears?

Every year, the CFDA Journal showcases the work of the CFDA Awards nominees.

This year, however, photographer Craig McDean and stylist Karl Templer opted to use the designers wearing their own creations, rather than the models.

So, Marc Jacobs donned his Louis Vuitton bunny ears, and Jason Wu threw his dress over his suit. As for Alexander Wang, well, check out the photo below...

2009 Gap Design Editions Campaign Images

As previously reported, Alexander Wang has designed a khaki motorcycle jacket for the Gap, as part of the brand's 2009 Gap Design Editions.

The Gap has previously collaborated with nominees from the CFDA/Vogue fashion fund, where the designers had to put their own spin on the traditional white button down shirt.

This time, however, the designers were offered the opportunity to re-interpret a different Gap classic - the Khaki.

2008 Fashion Fund Winners Albertus Swanepoel and Vena Cava (Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai), along with Wang, designed numerous khaki pieces including jackets, dresses and hats.

The print campaign for the collaboration features models Coco Rocha, Raquel Zimmerman, Anna J, and Arlenis posing with the designers.

The collection will be available in stores and online on June 16th, with items ranging from $39.50-$88.

Alexander Wang collaborating with Gap

Exciting news!

Gap VP of Design, Patrick Robinson revealed to Teen Vogue that Alexander Wang will be designing something special for the line.

"He did this incredible motorcycle jacket in khaki that's going to be under $100. It's coming out on June 16th, so get ready!" said Robinson.

The Gap has previously collaborated with nominees from the CFDA/Vogue fashion fund, where the designers had to put their own spin on the traditional white button down shirt.

Finally! I've been waiting for the Gap to come out with something less preppy and basic, and more fashion forward! I can't wait to see what the jacket looks like!
