"Beastly" preview

Check out Entertainment Tonight's preview of the new movie, Beastly, a modern day tale of Beauty and the Best starring Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Alex Pettyfer.

Looks cheesy, but Pettyfer is pretty yummy, and I am NOT one to miss out on an Olsen film!

Miley Cyrus and Max Azria sign a deal with Wal-Mart

This is probably one of the most bizarre collaborations I have heard of.

Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, is teaming up with Max Azria, chairman, designer and chief executive officer of the BCBG Max Azria Group (BCBG, Hervé Léger), to create a clothing line for Wal-Mart.

The line, which is aimed towards younger teens, is called Miley Cyrus and Max Azria, and will include tops, pants, graphic tees and shoes, all for under $20.

This isn't Wal-Mart's first celebrity collaboration, with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's tween fashion line, Hilary Duff's Stuff by Hilary Duff, and most recently, a line of cami dresses by Taylor Swift called L.E.I. by Taylor Swift.

Cyrus has been spotted wearing Hervé Léger by Max Azria in April to the U.K. premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie, and for the 2009 Grammy Awards, but I can't seem to fathom why such a big-name designer would collaborate with a popstar who isn't so fashion-conscious.

I guess everyone wants a piece of Miley!

The collection will hit Wal-Mart stores and walmart.com in early August.

Ashley Olsen in V MAN magazine

Ashley Olsen shows off her darker side in the summer issue of V MAN magazine.

The 22-year-old opted for dark hair instead of her usual blond locks, and struck some sultry, moody poses for the camera.

In the mag, she talks to designer Marc Jacobs about her men's collection for The Row, and the differences between her and Mary-Kate.

On designing for The Row:

"The way I look at it, I had a career as a child. I had a career in an industry in which the media kind of. . . they're obsessed with the young girl thing. But when I turned 18, I moved to New York, and I haven't really done anything to be a celebrity. I've been transitioning from acting as a kid to doing something that I'm choosing for myself — to be a part of the fashion industry. . . the outside perception is very different because you do have celebrity brands, people like Jessica Simpson and Kimora Lee Simmons, and those are celebrity brands because they have their names on them."

On working with Mary-Kate:

"The Row is really something that I'm doing while my sister still wants to focus on acting. She's my partner in The Row, but she trusts me with the every day. I mean, I see her like ten times a day."

On being different from her twin sister:

"When I was 14, 15, 16, 17, it was harder because the two of us were still very similar. We had to work through what's special about us, and then the media had to work through it. . . I've never been one to engage the media to say that I'm different. I actually did the opposite and I totally went internal. I was like, "See y'all!" I want to be behind the scenes, and I don't want people to know anything about my personal life. I have a job, I take it very seriously, and I work really hard."

The summer issue of V MAN will hit newsstands this Thursday.
