Jimmy Choo for H&M!

H&M never fails to please its loyal customers.

The brand has a announced that it will be collaborating with an accessories brand for the first time, and who better to start off with than Jimmy Choo?

The British accessory brand will bring its international glamour and covetable shoes and bags to select H&M stores this fall. Jimmy Choo will also be including women's clothing to complement the collection, as well as men's shoes, bags, and accessories.

“We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M so far, and to be designing a collection appealing to fashion savvy, street smart women, and to be including some great pieces for men, too," said Tamara Mellon, Founder and President of Jimmy Choo in a press statement. "Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!”

“We adore Jimmy Choo’s shoes and bags. They are glamorous and sexy, and they add instant style to the simplest of outfits. I like the way we have worked with clothes to accessorize the shoes and bags rather than the other way around. This collaboration is particularly exciting because it’s our first shoe designer collection. It’s a joy to be able to offer top end designer shoes and bags of excellent quality to our customers,” said Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor for H&M.

The collection will be available November 14, 2009 in 200 H&M stores worldwide.

This is a collaboration I will DEFINITELY be lining up for!

Shoemaker, Christian Louboutin, has teamed up with renowned still-life photographer Peter Lipmann for his latest ad campaign.

The photographs feature the famed red soles as 18th century works of art.

MTV Movie Awards 2009 Trend: The Caged Heel

One of the hottest trends this summer is the caged heel.

This sexy shoe was most notably seen on Yves Saint Laurent's Spring 2009 runway, and has made its way to mass retail stores everywhere, including Topshop and Aldo.

But beware: this shoe is not safe for those with foot fetishes!

The caged heel made several appearances at the MTV Movie Awards 2009 being sported on some of Hollywood's hottest young stars right now. Some opted for more dramatic versions, while others more subtle.

YSL and Puma's collaboration

Are designers sneakers the latest trend?

Christian Louboutin, who is usually known for his red-soled heels, recently created a leopard-print sneaker.

Now, Yves Saint Laurent has teamed up with its sister company Puma to create a high-top sneaker for men.

The sneaker, which is available in black leather and grey suede is available in YSL boutiques, but will be sold exclusively on its e-commerce site in the states.

This is not Puma's first collaboration with the Gucci Group brands, as they have previously worked with Alexander McQueen and Sergio Rossi.

Would you wear designer sneakers? Or would you stick to your good old Nikes?

Louboutin makes a sneaker!

Famed for his red high-heeled soles, Christian Louboutin has come out with a sneaker!

There's no word on how much these leopard-print high tops will cost yet, but there's no doubt the soles will be red, right?

Paul Marrot Editions x Nike Sportswear Skinny Dunk Collection

Last summer, my best friend Michael came to visit me from Montreal.

A self-professed sneakerhead, he begins most of our conversations with, "I need new shoes."

While he was here, we scouted tons of shoe stores downtown so he could find the perfect, most exclusive pair of "kicks." He bought three pairs during his stay.

I had never really given sneakers much thought until Michael began introducing me to all the different styles available.

I considered buying a pair, but in the end, realized I just couldn't part with my flats for these bulky shoes.

Now, Nike has come out with "The Nike Skinny Dunk," a new version of their famous Dunk shoe, but tailored to fit girls better. The colourful shoes sport a bunch of different designs (think cherries, butterflies and feathers) created by famous French textile designer Paule Marrot.

Trading in my flats doesn't seem too far-fetched now.

Michael would be proud.

I love the red pumps she's wearing, and Britney's "housewife" look!

The Christian Louboutin Limited Edition “Marie Antoinette” shoe

Apparently in a time of recession, people will pay $6,295.00 for ridiculously ugly shoes.

I'm a huge fan of Christian Louboutin, but this limited edition "Marie Antoinette" shoe is definitely not one of his best creations.

To be fair, you're not just paying for the shoes.

The money you'll be spending will also get you a specifically constrcuted box to keep your heels, and an illustrated book explaining how these intricate shoes were created.

Only 36 pairs have been made (in blush pink, ochre yellow and royal blue), and all of them have been claimed.

Fashion eye candy for the day

Spotted: What appears to be Hermes roller skates, but in reality, are just Hermes shoes placed on mini skateboards.

Apparently, they have even attacked mini sequined wings to the back of the shoes.

So cute!
