I'm falling more and more in love with little Jenny Humphrey's style!

Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen sported this stylish look after Anna Sui's Fall 2009 ready-to-wear show at New York Fashion Week.

Definitely a more girly, flirty look in comparison to her usual grungy wardrobe, but she still manages to keep a bit of rock-and-roll integrated into her outfit.

Best Dressed: Taylor Momsen

A true fashionista is a fashion chameleon. She is able to change her look, while still keeping her signature style.

Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen worked a beautiful green Marchesa gown to the Foundation for Aids Research Gala to kick off Fall 2009 Fashion Week in New York City.

Earlier, she rocked a leather jacket and skinny jeans on the set of GG.

Love them both!

Gossip Girl becomes reality!

Bravo is currently in the works of producing a Manhattan prep school docudrama.

The show is being described as the "real-life Gossip Girl" by insiders, and will follow the lives of New York City private school kids.

However, we all know that GG is filled with lots of sex, drugs and alcohol, and the network is concerned with the problems that would arise when they film these minors partying hard.

Reports are supporting Bravo's fears, reminiscing of the "controversy [that] arose during Laguna Beach when the underage cast members were shown drinking what was presumably alcohol at the house parties featured in the show."

Somehow, it seems like this show will just be an NYC version of Laguna Beach. I mean, do we really need another reality show full of spoiled, messed-up rich kids?

The GG characters are loveable...but I think we might just simply hate their real-life counterparts.

Chris Brown and Rihanna: More Updates

Developments, rumours, and celebrity input involving Chris Brown's alleged attack against Rihanna have been flooding the media for the past couple of days.

Here are some of the updates about the incident:

What Happened:

• A source revealed to E! News that Rihanna told police that Brown choked her while threatening to kill her and, as a result, she lost consciousness.
  
  The fight started when they left Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party on Saturday. Shortly after midnight, it escalated, and Brown pulled over the silver Lambourghini to the side of a street in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighbourhood.
  
  According to the source, Rihanna then grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, which sent Brown into a rage. He tried to find the keys, then came back to the car, put his hands around her neck, and said, "I'm going to kill you!"
  
  Rihanna told the police that by the time she regained consciousness, Brown had fled the scene. Her injuries (blackened right eye, swelling, and hand prints on her arms) concerned the responding officers so much, they drove her to the hospital instead themselves, instead of waiting for an ambulance.
  

• Other sources say that Brown's alleged attack supposedly started with a text message he received from another female.
  
  The New York Daily News reported, "He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That's when she's told people he hit her."
  

Legal Matters:

• A police source confirmed that Rihanna is providing "ongoing" cooperation with detectives.
  

• The Los Angeles District Attorney's office asked police to do more investigative work before deciding to press charges against Brown for domestic violence. LAPD chief investigator, Detective Deshon Andrews, is keeping the case file closely guarded in order to keep anything from being leaked to the media. He did reveal, however, that 911 call recorded audio of "a screaming woman."
  

• It has been confirmed that the 911 call was not made by Rihanna, but by a witness who spotted the altercation and called police. That witness will be key to the case.
  

Background Info:

• Details have emerged that Brown has been in trouble with the law before.
  
  Life & Style magazine is reporting that in 2007, Miami police were called to Brown's hotel room because guests overheard him screaming and throwing dishes at his mother.
  
  A source said, "He was fighting with his mom. Neighboring hotel guests alerted security and they came upstairs to the room, saw the broken dishes and the mess, and then asked hi mother to leave the room. Plice were then called, but charges were not filed as Chris simply paid the hotel bill and left the hotel."
  

• Other sources, who claim to be friends of Rihanna's, have revealed to Us Weekly that they noticed visible bruises on Rihanna's neck in early December. When they asked her if she was ok, Rihanna answered, "We broke up again."
  

Public Statements:

• Neither Brown, nor Rihanna have made any statements to the public themselves.
  
  

• Rihanna's publicist, Jana Fleishman issued a statement Sunday saying only that "Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support."
  
  Rihanna's grandmother, Clara Brathwaite has told the media, "I don't want people to worry. Rihanna is fine and she is doing well." Brathwaite also denied that Rihanna suffered from a broken nose.
  

• From the Brown camp, his longtime stylist, Mike B., said, "Chris is all right. He's a good kid. He feels very bad that something like this has happened."
  
  Brown's sister, Lytrell Bundy, told Extra, "He's always been a good boy — never violent." When asked about how Brown is coping with the situation, she said, "He's doing good. He's coping... He's doing as... as to be expected."
  
  Another friend told People magazine, "You can tell everybody that Chris really feels bad about the whole situation, about it coming out the way that it happened, the way he went about it, the way she went about it … it's just a wack situation." The friend also said the story is "not as bad as everybody is trying to gas it up to be."

Celebrity Input:

• Celebrities have also been quick to comment on the alleged incident:
  
  In an interview on Carson Daly's talk show, Brown's friend, rapper, T.I. said, “Yeah, I spoke to him today. He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris.” He later issued a statement saying he "made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation."
  
  Rihanna's mentor, and the man who discovered her, rapper, Jay-Z was supposdly enraged when he heard that Brown allegedly hit Rihanna. A source said, "He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew."
  
  Actor Terrance Howard told the paparazzi, "Chris is a great guy. He'll be all right… Rihanna knows he loves her… Everybody just needs to get out of their way." He later retracted these "insensitive remarks," insisting that he didn't know about the alleged incident when he made the remarks.
  
  Rapper Kanye West told Ryan Seacrest, "I feel like that's my baby sis and I would do any and everything to help her in any situation."
  

Aftermath:

• As a result of the alleged situation, Brown has cancelled a series of events associated with the NBA All-Star Game this weekend in Phoenix.
  
  
• Rihanna has cancelled her 21st birthday bash. There were about 200 guests invited to the carnival-themed soiree, which was supposed to be held on February 20th in New York City. She has also postponed her concerts in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jakarta.
  
  
• Brown has been dropped by the Body by Milk campaign. The brand issued the following statement: "The Milk Mustache campaign is taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously. We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens. Mr. Brown’s ad was launched last fall and is scheduled to end this week."
  
  
• Radio stations in the states, specifically WAKS "Kiss" FM 96.5 in Cleaveland, have dropped all of Brown's tracks from their playlists, after listeners called in outraged that his music was still being supported.
  
  The station's program director Bo Williams said, "I then made the decision to rid the whole station of Chris Brown songs while this plays out. We are fans of Chris Brown's music, and this is not something that will last forever. But it appears that Chris has made some poor choices, we are following the lead of our listeners, and we will not be supporting Chris Brown on 96.5 Kiss FM in Cleveland until the alleged situation gets resolved."
  
  
• An inside source has revealed thet Brown has been trying to contact Rihanna: "Chris has been trying to contact her. So far she hasn't taken his call. Her family is on their way to be with her. She has some close girlfriend looking after her."
  
  
• Brown's mugshot will not be released, as he was arrested within LA city limits. According to LA city law, mugshots are only released to the public if the individual poses a threat to the public or its distribution will assist in the criminal investigation.
  
  
• A photo has been floating around depicting a bruised and battered Rihanna. It is not real, it's photoshopped.

Ed Westwick, a.k.a Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl's K-Swiss advertisement has finally been revealed!

The 21-year-old British actor wears an updated version of the K-Swiss "Classic" shoe.

The ad will be appearing on billboards in New York starting this Friday!

Maybe we'll get a glimpse of them in an upcoming GG episode?

Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen rocked a Jen Kao ensemble during a screening of He's Just Not that Into You in New York on Wednesday.

I know she's only 15, and that she's really getting into the whole "rocker" look that Jenny Humphrey has adopted on the show, but what is with those striped leggings?

Is this a fashion risk that works, or simply a disaster?

Are you ready for more GG?

After denying earlier reports, the producers of the hit TV show have now confirmed that yes, there will be a spin-off of Gossip Girl that will focus on a younger Lily van der Woodsen in Hollywood in the '80s.

The spin-off will begin with Lily and her outcast sister moving to the San Fernando Valley after an argument with her parents. Leaving her world of luxury behind for a place she once made fun of, she embarks in an adventure in Hollywood, where surely, she'll be getting into a bunch of trouble, and of course, meet Rufus, and become impregnated.


Gossip Girl creators/executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage selected their characters, timeframe, and location because they "didn't want to upset the chemistry of [their] cast - all of whom are crucial to the show. Nor did [they] want to dilute New York City as a character."

Seems like a way to milk their success even more to me!

The cast of Gossip Girl just can't seem to take their hands off each other...off-screen.

First there was Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, then Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr!

Now, a New York paper is reporting that Chace Crawford, 23, and Taylor Momsen, 15, hooked up at the Gossip Girl holiday party today!

The paper's source said the two sneaked away during the part to "steal kisses in the corner."

Seems like the on-screen romances really have an effect on these stars!

But with Penn, Ed, and Chace taken, who will Leighton Meester be left with?

Leighton Meester for Reebok

Finally! Gossip Girl's Queen B, Leighton Meester, has just landed her own ad campaign, which were shot in New York last Saturday.

Surprisingly, the character who plays Blair Waldorf on the hit CW series will be the new face of Reebok.

Yes, Reebok. The sneakers. Sound familiar?

The ironic thing is, no one on Gossip Girl even wears sneakers. Are these companies hinting at product placement?

No word yet on when the ads will be released.

In the meantime, we're left to wonder...is Penn Badgley for Adidas next?

Barbie's a fashionista

For Barbie's 50th birthday, she's getting the ultimate fashion makeover from 50 big-named designers.

Mattel Inc. is planning on marketing Barbie as a fashion brand, complete with a runway show that will be part of New York Fashion Week

The 50 designers will produce life-sized outfits inspired by the doll based on a series of different celebrations. Vera Wang will create a life-size wedding gown which includes a Barbie wearing the mini version and Jeremy Scott will create a capsule collection inspired by her.

In Shanghai, a House of Barbie will be opening, and a new range of beauty products, with names such as "All Doll'd Up" will be out in 2009.

Mattel is also embarking on a three-year partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America from next February, as well as sponser New York's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

"For many young girls, [Barbie is] their first association with fashion and dressing up and changing clothes," said Fern Mallis, senior vice president at IMG Fashion in New York.

Now, if only I could be a little girl again...and dress her up in Alexander Wang and Chanel...

Ed Westwick for K-Swiss

Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick has landed a fashion campaign!

The actor who portrays Chuck Bass will be the new face, or feet, of K-Swiss.

He is currently being shot in New York City for the upcoming television and print ads that will promote the iconic Classic shoe.

The print ads will feature Bass holding tennis balls, rackets and guitars, and for television, he'll be singing "Come Flash All You Ladies," a song by his band, The Filthy Youth.

"It's going to be very Brit cool, blending tennis and music," a source told E!Online.

The campaign is said to be launching in February.

But the biggest question is...will Chuck now be sporting the Classic shoe as well?

Taylor Momsen speaks out about her small frame

In response to being criticized for her tiny frame, Taylor Momsen told Us Weekly that she's naturally thin, and doesn't feel the pressure to be skinny.

"I'm just kind of naturally thin. My mom's really thin, and I'm tall," said the Gossip Girl star at the Diesel xXx Rock & Roll Circus in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday. "Good genes."

She also told reporters that she doesn't work out.

"I just eat healthy. I walk a lot because I live in New York," she said. "So I try to walk a lot instead of taking cabs.

"I should probably start working out or something," she added. "I dance, so I guess that's a full workout. I've been dancing since I was three, so I guess that would be it."

New York Fashion Week: Diane von Furtsenberg

"Rock Goddess" was the name of Diane von Furtsenberg's Spring 2009 collection. The clothing was set for a bohemian Pocahontas, with beautiful headpieces embellished with flowers, feathers, and leather cords. The dresses were flowy, with bold prints and lush colours, and some beaded detailing. It was hippie chic at its best.

Spotted front row: Jennifer Lopez, Leighton Meester, Uma Thurman, and Eva Longoria.

Also, Whitney Port was spotted working backstage, as part of a scene for The Hills.

My absolute favourite collection for Spring '09! Marc mixed a nautical, preppy style and added a bohemian and urban flair. He used baby doll and trapeze silhouettes for the women, and somehow even made the fanny pack look cool. I especially loved the men's clothing..so cute!
